This document gives an overview of Voice Over ATM/Voice Telephony Over ATM (VTOA). It concentrates on various design considerations that need to be addressed while setting up a voice supporting ATM network. It discusses the standards that are getting evolved thanks to the works of ATM Forum. The document ends with brief description of some of the products currently available for VTOA.
